Design, develop, and execute integration tests for high-performance backend systems. Improve automation frameworks, work closely with developers and product managers, and ensure software quality for unreleased features in a rapidly evolving environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and partners to build, test, and deliver reliable software solutions.
- Create test designs and develop Python-based scripts for integration testing scenarios.
- Develop integration test cases for new and unreleased features, integrate them into CI pipelines, and approve features for production release.
- Conduct hands-on debugging, identify root causes of issues, and communicate findings effectively across teams.
- Evaluate existing integration test scripts, identify gaps, prioritize improvements, and implement fixes.
- Improve the current integration testing framework to increase automation efficiency and enhance reporting capabilities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend QA engineering.
- End-to-end testing experience, including test design, script development, and execution.
- Proficient in working with UNIX/Linux environments.
- Strong programming skills in Python and Bash, developed without reliance on AI tools.
- Experience testing backend components such as APIs, databases, and distributed systems.
- Passionate about identifying failures and understanding underlying root causes, not just surface-level issues.
- Able to communicate clearly and logically in English.
