The QA Automation Engineer will design and maintain end-to-end automated tests for network and storage devices, with a focus on Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and test automation frameworks within the Prague office.
Responsibilities
- Create and run automated end-to-end test cases for network and storage hardware
- Detect, document, and track bugs with consistent follow-up
- Conduct both front-end and back-end testing across all stages of the QA lifecycle
- Review release notes, project documentation, and related materials to define or revise test scenarios
- Build, enhance, and sustain automated testing frameworks and supporting infrastructure
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in AQA or a similar role
- Advanced skills in Linux and Unix environments
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language such as Python or Go
- Experience writing Bash scripts
- Solid grasp of networking concepts including Internet, WiFi, VLAN, Firewall, and VPN
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and practices
- Fluency in both English and Czech
- Demonstrated willingness to continuously learn and adapt
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with storage technologies including block, object storage, and filesystems
- Background in unit and integration testing
- DevOps experience involving CI/CD pipelines, Terraform scripting
- Prior experience in system or network administration
- Hands-on experience with Docker or virtualization platforms such as Proxmox
