Lightcast is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team. In this remote role, you will play a key part in architecting and delivering robust software solutions that support our mission.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable software systems
Lead and contribute to technical design discussions and code reviews
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver product features
Mentor other engineers and help elevate the team's technical capabilities
Identify and implement process and technology improvements

What We're Looking For

5+ years of professional software development experience
Proven track record of designing, building, and shipping production-grade software
Expertise in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript)
Strong understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively in a remote setting
