Responsibilities

- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
- Contribute to architectural decisions and system improvements
- Ensure data consistency and integrity across services
- Support deployment pipelines and monitoring systems
- Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices
- Evaluate new technologies and frameworks for potential adoption
- Maintain documentation for systems and processes
- Work with databases to ensure efficient queries and indexing
- Integrate third-party services and APIs securely
- Help define and enforce security standards for backend systems
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotations
- Improve observability through logging and metrics
- Drive automation to reduce manual operational overhead
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to disaster recovery and high availability planning
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in computer science or related field
