Alkami is looking for a Sr Software Engineer to join our Activations squad. You will enhance the technical process of onboarding new clients to production, focusing on integration with core banking provider APIs and improving third-party systems. Your work will directly impact our clients' experience by discovering and accounting for nuances in their online account opening processes.

What You'll Do

Technically enhance the process of getting new clients to production within the Activations squad.
Integrate with client core provider APIs.
Enhance third-party integrations such as Check Book ordering and ACH Transfers.
Improve product services.
Work with clients to discover nuances in their online account opening process.
Partner with the product team to account for client process nuances in the system.
Write clean, thoroughly documented, and well-tested code with an eye for long-term viability and performance.
Emphasize error-handling, logging, and edge cases when writing features.
Break down complex product asks into elegant solutions.
Work on system design and advocate for architectural opinions.
Approach architectural challenges with questions to decide on the best approach, considering tradeoffs.
Provide technical guidance, suggestions, and code reviews for teammates.

What We're Looking For

3+ years of professional experience writing backend services & APIs.
Good understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
Experience with NodeJS.
Well versed with REST APIs.
Well versed with microservice architectures.
Good technical and communication skills.
Ability to self-manage and estimate.
