WellSky is hiring a Sr. Software Engineer to own all stages of the software development lifecycle for impactful solutions. This role focuses on building comprehensive software that prioritizes end-user efficiency and experience, and is part of the AOS Engineering team.

What You'll Do

Lead the design of complex software features, ensuring solutions are scalable, effective, and maintainable.
Collaborate with solution managers and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications aligned with project goals.
Analyze and solve complex technical problems, identify bottlenecks, and prepare technical documentation to optimize performance.
Facilitate code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and lead by example in code quality and development best practices.
Ensure code meets functional and performance requirements through rigorous testing, including automated unit and integration tests.
Leverage common GenAI tools for AI-assisted development and understand the basics of prompt engineering.
Adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating initiative and flexibility as goals evolve.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
At least 4-6 years of relevant work experience.
Strong experience with .NET, including C# or Java.
Proficiency in Angular or React (Angular preferred for web, React Native used for mobile).
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred; AWS or Azure acceptable.
Familiarity with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Copilot Studio; openness to AI-driven workflows.
Solid foundation in unit testing and automated testing; ability to own quality assurance in the absence of dedicated QA resources.
Experience working in Agile environments, including familiarity with JIRA, Scrum, and sprint planning.

Nice to Have

Experience working in healthcare technology environments, especially with Home Health & Hospice systems.
Familiarity with HL7 standards and interoperability protocols used in clinical data exchange.
