What You'll Do
Help shape the future of building design by developing software that redefines how engineering workflows are automated. You'll build core components of a growing SaaS platform, focusing on the 'Buildings as Code™' vision. Your work will involve designing robust abstractions, implementing key features, and refining tools that shift long-standing industry practices.
You'll interpret complex requirements, break them into manageable technical tasks, and deliver clean, maintainable code. Collaboration is central—you'll work closely with stakeholders across the organization, integrate feedback, and help guide project direction. You're expected to take ownership of major features within your first four months and support peers through mentorship and thoughtful code reviews.
Requirements
We're looking for someone with deep technical fluency in statically-typed, high-level languages—especially F#, C#, or C++. You should have a proven ability to navigate large codebases, debug both compile-time and runtime issues, and refactor solutions iteratively. Experience with version control and pull request practices is essential, particularly the ability to articulate the reasoning behind technical decisions.
You must be able to quickly grasp domain-specific challenges, especially those in the AEC space, and work effectively with experts to design practical software solutions. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, as is the ability to say 'no' to requests when technically justified—and explain why clearly. You should thrive in distributed teams, adapt quickly to new systems, and lead implementation efforts independently while staying aligned with team goals.
