As an Acumatica Developer, you'll play a key role in building and maintaining enterprise resource planning systems tailored to client needs. You'll write, test, and maintain custom code, design business forms, and support full-cycle implementation activities including data migration, integrations, and system enhancements.
What You'll Do
- Develop, modify, and debug code within the Acumatica platform to meet client-specific requirements
- Design and optimize relational databases, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems
- Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business and technical requirements
- Support report development using tools such as SSRS, Crystal Reports, and custom solutions
- Provide technical guidance during ERP implementations, including system configuration and data conversion
- Research emerging technologies and build proof-of-concept solutions to support system improvements
- Work closely with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to deliver effective system strategies
- Recommend, plan, and execute software upgrades and performance optimizations
- Communicate clearly and professionally to resolve technical challenges efficiently
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of hands-on experience with Acumatica development
- Acumatica Certified Application Developer credential required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or a related field
- Five years of experience in software development or technical consulting
- Proficiency in SQL, C#, VB.Net, VBA, Asp.Net, HTML5, JavaScript, ILS, and related technologies
- Familiarity with SharePoint, Active Directory, and reporting platforms such as SSRS and Crystal
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and relational database design
- Proven ability to work independently and within team environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and diverse client environments
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time as needed
