Capcom USA is hiring a Sr. Sales Analyst (Forecasting & Demand Planning)

About the Role

The Sr. Sales Analyst (Forecasting & Demand Planning) will play a key role in shaping Capcom USA's sales strategy by analyzing performance data, developing precise forecasts, and providing actionable insights. This position supports executive decision-making and works closely with Sales, Finance, and cross-functional teams to align planning with business goals.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain high-accuracy monthly SKU-level forecasts by synthesizing internal performance data and external market trends.
  • Partner with Finance to integrate unit, ASP, and revenue demand plans into Essbase, ensuring all variances are documented and data justified.
  • Lead monthly forecast reviews with Sales and Finance to ensure organizational alignment on targets and resource allocation.
  • Own the end-to-end production of weekly performance dashboards for Sales and Executive leadership, highlighting progress against KPIs.
  • Distill complex analytical findings into concise presentations for C-level executives to support real-time decision-making.
  • Act as the primary steward of sales data, ensuring 100% accuracy across Tableau, Essbase, and internal reporting systems.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on historical sales drivers, and market data, to identify opportunities for revenue growth and strategy optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to establish robust benchmarking principles and performance standards.
  • Provide rapid response modeling and analytical support for high-priority strategic initiatives.
  • Proactively identify and resolve friction points in the forecasting lifecycle to increase accuracy and reduce manual reporting overhead.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • 5 – 7 years of experience in sales analytics, business analysis, finance, operations, or related functional area, preferably in the video game industry.
  • Excellent analytical, forecasting, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and business recommendations.
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel.
  • Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate with staff of all levels and divisions, including executive management.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize initiatives effectively, and learn new skill sets and data tools quickly.
  • Strong interest in console/PC video games.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data/BI tools such as Tableau & Essbase
  • Bilingual English/Japanese a plus.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000
  • Compensation for this position will be determined based on relevant factors including, but not limited to, industry knowledge, experience, qualification, and skill set.

  • This is an onsite position located in San Francisco, CA.
  • This is not a remote position.
