Hopper is hiring a Sr Product Designer, Commerce to be a founding member of a new B2B vertical. You'll build a new product from the ground up and shape the experience for a new customer segment, acting as the design lead working with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Design end-to-end web experiences, owning the full process from concept through launch.
- Conduct customer interviews and usability tests, leveraging qualitative feedback and quantitative data to validate and iterate on designs.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to define problems, explore solutions, and ship features.
- Create simple, logical UI that makes complex workflows feel effortless.
- Balance user advocacy with business goals and technical constraints.
- Make smart tradeoffs between speed, learning, and competing priorities.
- Lead design reviews with external partners and build strong cases for design decisions.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years designing modern digital products with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end web design work and process.
- Proven track record designing 0-to-1 experiences from concept through launch using Figma and prototyping tools.
- Collaborates effectively with product and engineering teams in agile settings, clearly articulating design rationale and assessing technical feasibility.
- Shows strong judgment making data-driven decisions grounded in research, testing, and metrics.
- Thrives as part of a founding team—scrappy, resourceful, passionate about solving real customer problems, and has no ego.
