RecargaPay is seeking a Sr. Platform Engineer with a strategic and systematic vision for building and evolving our internal platforms. In this role, you'll be responsible for creating self-service solutions that abstract infrastructure complexity and empower development teams to deliver software efficiently, securely, and at scale.
What You'll Do
- Build self-service internal solutions and abstract infrastructure complexity.
- Ensure developers have a productive, standardized, and observable environment.
- Implement automation best practices, CI/CD, security, and governance.
- Focus on Developer Experience by creating intuitive and efficient interfaces and abstractions.
- Implement monitoring, metrics, logs, and structured alerts for observability and reliability.
- Empower squads to deliver software autonomously by providing documentation, best practices, and ongoing support.
- Explore new technologies and continuously evolve the platform to support organizational growth.
What We're Looking For
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
- Proven experience in platform engineering with a focus on agile development.
- Deep understanding and practical experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Github, New Relic.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices, such as Github Actions, Jenkins, GitOps.
- Practical experience in building platforms and adopting Internal Developer Platform (IDP).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in dynamic environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multifunctional teams.
- Proven ability to provide technical leadership and mentor less experienced team members.
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
Nice to Have
- English or Spanish is a plus.
