Phiture is hiring a Sr. Platform Architect | DevOps/Solutioning to lead the design and delivery of modern cloud platform solutions. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, blending deep technical consulting with hands-on project oversight and pre-sales support to ensure client success.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of consulting and hands-on service offerings for platform engineering.
- Serve as a cloud-native technical consultant, assessing client business needs and recommending scalable, secure solutions.
- Align solution architectures with industry standards and best practices, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with Sales and Account Management to ensure successful project delivery and identify partnership opportunities.
- Establish long-term relationships with client stakeholders as a trusted technical advisor.
- Contribute to the development of internal methodologies and consulting frameworks.
- Develop and deliver proof of concepts (POCs) that demonstrate the value of proposed solutions.
- Support business development by creating level-of-effort estimates, technical proposals, and statements of work (SOW).
- Provide thought leadership in cloud-native technologies, DevOps, and platform engineering.
- Stay current with advancements in platform engineering, automation, and observability.
- Maintain enterprise use cases, success stories, and reference architectures.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience.
- Proven consulting background, with hands-on expertise in cloud-native, DevOps, and platform engineering.
- Deep experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and related technologies including EKS, AKS, GKE, and OpenShift.
- Familiarity with DevOps and DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, and Harness.
- Experience with observability solutions and OpenTelemetry (OTEL).
- Knowledge of developer portals such as BackStage or comparable platforms.
- Understanding of Kubernetes operators and tools like Cilium and Crossplane.
- 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting cloud compute, networking, and storage services.
- Experience with cloud operations, including performance monitoring and management using native and third-party tools.
- Strong scripting proficiency in Python, Ruby, or GoLang.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent consultative communication skills.
- Experience producing detailed architecture, testing, and as-built documentation.
- Comfortable managing multiple, concurrent projects in a client-facing consulting capacity.
Nice to Have
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect and/or DevOps Engineer certification.
