About the Role

Community Health Network is hiring a Senior Patient Care Technician to join our care team. This role works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, providing essential hands-on care and support to patients. You will be a key collaborator in delivering the exceptional, simply delivered care that is central to our mission.

What You'll Do

  • Perform direct patient care including bathing, assisting with elimination, bed making, and taking vital signs.
  • Transport patients and patient-related materials in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
  • Greet and orient patients to the patient care area.
  • Perform meal service and feeding assistance functions.
  • Provide additional select care to patients as needed.
  • Collaborate with other team members to perform other services as directed.

What We're Looking For

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Ability to use a computer for documentation and work-related purposes.
  • Strong written, verbal, and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills.
  • Demonstrates accountability for own actions and provides service in a willing and courteous manner.
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task effectively.
  • Able to take direction well, while also being self-directed and motivated.
  • Requires a high degree of responsibility and responsiveness.
  • Ability to deal effectively with patients, visitors, situations, and other Care Team members while maintaining emotional control.
  • Must be able to lift patients and equipment as required.
  • Must be available for one week of full-time training.
  • Three (3) months of Clinical Experience or CNA license required, OR you must be currently enrolled in Nursing school.

You will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse in a collaborative care team environment, providing essential support that enables exceptional patient care.
