Join Wizards of the Coast as a Senior Network Engineer within the Skeleton Key studio. You will be responsible for building and delivering engineering design and implementation plans for our corporate network. Your primary focus will be designing, implementing, and sustaining solutions for public, private, and hybrid cloud network infrastructure that directly supports our products and services.
What You'll Do
- Be accountable for local and Cloud networking, including routing, switching, firewall, network monitoring, and management.
- Design, analyze, and improve established networks.
- Work with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and similar cloud services to design, configure, provision, and deploy solutions at the network layer.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to fix and resolve sophisticated problems.
- Drive improvements through the full life cycle from concept to final implementation and support.
- Participate in disaster recovery development, exercises, and actual events.
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and assist in resolving issues outside normal business hours.
- Maintain systems and documentation as needed for audits and compliance.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of experience with networking technologies and core Internet protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, wireless, and distributed networks).
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Networking Technology: AWS, Azure, Internet Gateways (IGW’s), and Virtual Private Networks (VPN’s).
- Software-Defined Network (SDN) and Software-Defined WAN (SDWAN) deployment experience.
- Detailed knowledge of TCP/IP internetworking, Cisco IOS, data communications equipment, and LAN/WAN/Cloud concepts, operations, and troubleshooting.
- The ability to diagnose, identify, and resolve problems affecting network performance.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, visual, and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to work in a customer-oriented, positive team environment.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with AI and network automation technologies.
- Relevant cloud (AWS, Azure, etc.), Cisco, or Juniper certifications.
