Jobgether is hiring a Senior Java Microservice Developer to lead the design and development of high-performance, scalable enterprise applications. You will build robust microservices, integrate with external platforms, and support mission-critical systems across cloud and on-premises environments.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain Java/J2EE microservices and enterprise applications.
- Build and consume REST, SOAP, and XML web services for integration across multiple platforms.
- Collaborate with architecture and product teams to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available solutions.
- Deploy applications to cloud and on-premises environments using WebLogic, AWS, and automated pipelines.
- Implement messaging solutions using JMS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ and ensure efficient multithreaded application processing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across services and integrations.
- Participate in code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers.
- Contribute to CI/CD processes using Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent automation tools.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of professional experience in Java development with expertise in Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing Java microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in building and consuming REST, SOAP, and XML web services.
- Experience with messaging systems such as JMS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and database integration.
- AWS hands-on experience.
- Experience with automated deployment and DevOps tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Solid understanding of multithreaded, distributed, and enterprise-level application architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
