Role Overview
We’re seeking a skilled iOS engineer to take ownership of native mobile development for a consumer-facing application built around live video streaming. In this role, you’ll define the technical roadmap, drive high-performance implementations, and ensure the iOS platform meets rigorous standards for stability, scalability, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end iOS development, managing the full release lifecycle from planning to deployment
- Partner with backend teams to integrate APIs and deliver new functionality for a growing user base
- Collaborate with product leadership to refine feature designs and prioritize roadmap initiatives
- Enforce code quality through reviews, unit testing, and performance benchmarking
Required Expertise
- Minimum of 3 years focused on iOS development with production apps in the public store
- Strong command of iOS system architecture, including chipset-level behaviors and hardware integration
- Mastery of UI patterns, responsive design, and platform-specific best practices
- Proven ability to structure and refactor complex projects using sound design patterns
- Familiarity with open-source libraries and tools that accelerate development
- Hands-on experience with camera APIs, video capture, and media handling subsystems
- Solid grasp of offline data management, caching strategies, and performance optimization
- Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and mobile testing frameworks
- Understanding of memory management, multi-threading, and efficient resource use on mobile devices
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication abilities
Preferred Background
- Experience writing and maintaining unit tests for iOS applications
- Exposure to web technologies and full-stack development
- Previous work in remote or startup environments

Work Arrangement
This is a remote position open exclusively to candidates based in India. You’ll work independently while staying closely aligned with distributed teams through structured collaboration.
