CI&T is looking for a Master Android Developer to join the data product development team for a client in the Entertainment sector. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining native Android libraries and applications, ensuring high performance, usability, and scalability.

What You'll Do

Develop and implement responsive, performant, and accessible interfaces using Kotlin.
Develop and maintain native Android libraries with a focus on performance, usability, and scalability.
Participate in front-end and back-end integration, ensuring efficient consumption of APIs and other services.
Collaborate with Design, Product Owners, and Back-end teams to align and plan project deliveries.
Contribute to code reviews and dissemination of good development practices.
Ensure code is clean, organized, scalable, and easy to maintain.
Ensure code quality through automated tests and good development practices.
Work with automation and continuous integration (CI/CD) tools to optimize the development flow.
Work based on metrics, ensuring continuous and sustainable project evolution.

What We're Looking For

Availability for hybrid work (2x per week) in one of the offices located in: São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre, or Recife.
Solid experience in developing native Android libraries in Kotlin.
Experience using internal and external libraries.
Experience with unit and integration testing.
Familiarity with design patterns, clean code principles, and good software engineering practices.
Knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
Ability to solve medium to high complexity technical problems.
Knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.

Nice to Have

Experience developing multimedia libraries and/or applications (audio/video).
Experience developing libraries and/or applications for Android TV.
Knowledge of video streaming (e.g., HLS, DASH, DRM, codecs).
Experience using advertising libraries (e.g., IMA).
Experience developing libraries with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
