Capgemini is looking for an Android Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, reusable, and reliable Android applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring top-tier performance and a seamless user experience.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Android applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement design into the application.
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile development.
What We're Looking For
- 1-2 years of experience as an Android Developer or in similar roles.
- Knowledge of integration of internal/external REST APIs.
- Experience developing mobile applications.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and GIT.
- Basic use or understanding of Android SDK, UI components, Activities, Fragments, and View Model.
- Knowledge of SQL Databases like Postgres.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluent English communication.
- Knowledge of Unit testing.
- Knowledge of CI/CD.
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
