Bilue is looking for an iOS Engineer to join our team developing quality mobile applications for iOS. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, reliable code for the iOS platform. You'll work collaboratively in an agile environment to deliver excellent products.
What You'll Do
- Work collaboratively with developers, designers, delivery lead and clients in an agile environment.
- Design, build and maintain high performance reusable and reliable code for the iOS platform.
- Ensure the successful integration with back-end services.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of applications.
- Help maintain code quality, organisation and automation through user testing and peer reviews.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Be informed in the emerging ways to approach testing and encourage better practices to improve overall product quality.
What We're Looking For
- In-depth experience in creating large scale mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge and experience using the Swift programming language.
- Strong knowledge and experience in UIKit and/or SwiftUI.
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animation.
- Understanding of Apple’s iOS design principles and interface guidelines.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of low level C-based libraries.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Familiarity with Unit Testing.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Familiarity working with Agile Framework principles (Relative Estimation, Task breakdown, Sprint cadences).
