As a Mobile Engineer, you'll play a central role in creating a next-generation mobile application designed to empower field teams with intelligent, real-time capabilities. Working directly with founders, you'll help define both the technical direction and user experience of a product built from the ground up.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain robust, scalable applications for iOS using Swift and for Android using Kotlin or Java.
- Translate design prototypes into responsive, intuitive interfaces that deliver a seamless user journey.
- Integrate with backend services via REST and GraphQL APIs, and leverage cloud platforms like AWS and Firebase for data and analytics.
- Optimize application performance through efficient memory management, network usage, and profiling techniques.
- Implement continuous integration and delivery workflows to streamline testing and deployment to app stores.
- Write well-structured, testable code and contribute to code reviews, debugging, and test automation.
- Keep pace with evolving mobile technologies and advocate for best practices across the development lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
- At least three years of hands-on experience shipping mobile applications for both major platforms.
- Proficiency in Swift and Kotlin (or Java), along with Xcode and Android Studio.
- Familiarity with modern architectural patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture, and adherence to platform-specific UI guidelines.
- Experience integrating third-party SDKs, managing API interactions, and troubleshooting mobile-specific challenges.
- Strong command of Git, testing frameworks, and release processes.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to cross-platform frameworks like Flutter or React Native.
- Background in monitoring tools such as Firebase Crashlytics for stability and performance insights.
- Understanding of security principles and data privacy in mobile contexts.
- Experience working in Agile environments using tools like JIRA or Trello.
