About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team, focusing on the design and development of electrical systems for gateways and customer hardware. This role involves creating reliable and high-performance electrical designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems for gateways and customer hardware.
- Create and maintain electrical schematics and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical and software components.
- Ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and safety requirements.
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Develop and implement test plans to validate electrical designs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in prototypes and production units.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in electrical design.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical feedback.
- Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure component availability and quality.
- Develop and maintain design standards and best practices.
- Support the development of manufacturing processes and test procedures.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical support to production and field teams.
- Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain electrical design tools and templates.
- Support the development of new products and technologies.
- Collaborate with international teams to ensure global product compliance.
- Participate in project planning and scheduling activities.
- Ensure timely delivery of electrical design tasks.
- Provide technical training and mentorship to junior engineers.

Nice to Have
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with satellite communication systems.
- Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink.
- Knowledge of FPGA and embedded systems design.
