AKASA is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our mission of building the future of healthcare with AI. In this role, you will focus on deep product analytics to measure and improve the impact of our GenAI solutions for Revenue Cycle Management, using large-scale healthcare and financial datasets.

What You'll Do

Leverage causal inference and advanced statistical methodologies to assess the value and impact of our products on key outcomes for health systems.
Design and analyze product experiments, including A/B tests and quasi-experiments, to evaluate product improvements and new features.
Clearly communicate insights highlighting product impact to a wide variety of stakeholders across the organization.

What We're Looking For

A Ph.D. and 3+ years of experience, a Master’s and 5-7 years of experience, or a Bachelor’s and 8+ years of experience in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Public Health, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proficiency in advanced statistical analysis and research design.
Proficiency in Python.
Proficiency in SQL.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
High self-sufficiency and ability to solve complex problems and conduct projects end-to-end.
A genuine passion for tackling healthcare's unique challenges and opportunities.

Nice to Have

2-4 years of experience in the healthcare domain, working with EHR, clinical, or claims data.
Specific experience in causal inference and/or econometrics.
Experience working with Data Warehouses.
A background in software development fundamentals and experience delivering software-based products.
