In this role, you'll focus on developing optimized Audio ML solutions for embedded systems, ensuring high performance on platforms such as ARM, Tensilica DSP, RISC-V, and NPUs.
What You'll Do
- Design, train, and deploy compact, high-efficiency deep learning models tailored for on-device audio inference.
- Apply quantization techniques—including post-training and quantization-aware training—as well as pruning to reduce model footprint without sacrificing accuracy.
- Enhance real-time audio performance in challenging acoustic conditions, focusing on speech enhancement, noise suppression, echo cancellation, and beamforming.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and product teams to integrate audio solutions that deliver seamless user experiences.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 7 years in audio signal processing with hands-on experience training Audio ML models for production deployment.
- Proven expertise in on-device optimization, including mixed precision inference and quantization workflows.
- Strong programming skills in C and Python, with experience in deep learning frameworks applied to audio tasks.
- Familiarity with embedded platforms and DSP architectures is essential.
Preferred Experience
- Background in subjective and objective audio quality assessment, including standard measurement methodologies.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving artifacts in ML-based audio pipelines.
- Leadership in technical environments—demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts and drive initiatives independently or within a team.
- A self-starter mindset with a track record of delivering robust, scalable solutions.
