Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data models and ETL pipelines
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems
- Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to define metrics
- Optimize queries and improve data accessibility
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring
- Support analytics use cases with well-documented datasets
- Work closely with engineering teams on data integration
- Improve data warehouse architecture and performance
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Maintain documentation for data assets and workflows
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to data tools
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
- Help define standards for analytics engineering practices
- Troubleshoot data issues in production environments
- Contribute to scalable and reusable data components
- Support self-service analytics for non-technical users
- Monitor data pipeline health and reliability
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies
- Use version control for data transformation code
- Integrate data from multiple source systems
- Apply software engineering principles to data workflows
- Assist in onboarding team members to data systems
- Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting
- Collaborate on dashboard development with visualization tools
- Maintain alignment with business objectives through data
