All Care Therapies is hiring a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) - Bilingual Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of speech therapy treatment plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist.
  • Conduct therapy sessions in both Spanish and English.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Prepare and maintain therapy materials and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients.
  • Assist in the development and modification of treatment plans as needed.
  • Provide feedback to the supervising speech-language pathologist.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
  • Participate in team meetings and case discussions.
  • Assist in the administration of assessments and evaluations.
  • Provide cultural sensitivity and competency in care.
  • Support the development of patient goals and objectives.
  • Assist in the discharge planning process.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment.
  • Assist in the development of patient education materials.
  • Provide support during therapy sessions as needed.
