MIYO Health is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our mission-driven team for the 2025–2026 school year. This remote, school-based role focuses on supporting students within the Plymouth, MI community. You will deliver essential speech-language services and collaborate closely with educators and families.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations.
- Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.
- Provide direct therapy services across grade levels, either in-person or remote.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development.
- Complete required documentation, including IEPs, Medicaid billing, and progress reports.
- Offer consultative support to school staff and caregivers.
What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Active Michigan SLP license, or eligibility to obtain one.
- At least 2 years of school-based experience.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Full-time availability for the 2025–2026 school year.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Experience with Special Education Case Management and IEP development.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Medicaid billing.
- Ability to creatively solve problems and adapt in a school-based environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
