Responsibilities
- Demonstrate advanced software development capabilities and quickly turn ideas into reliable, production-grade solutions
- Perform thorough code reviews to uphold standards in quality, security, performance, and alignment with enterprise architecture
- Produce and update comprehensive documentation covering system architecture, design, validation, deployment, disaster recovery, and operations
- Diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues spanning interconnected enterprise systems
- Keep informed about new technologies, industry standards, and developments in regulated software environments
- Lead and participate in application testing within GxP settings, ensuring compliance with FDA, EMA, and international regulations
- Manage all aspects of computer system validation and associated activities, including risk evaluations, testing approaches, installation and operational qualification, traceability, and documentation
- Build and sustain test plans, cases, and scripts for system updates, fixes, version upgrades, and third-party software releases
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance tests to confirm system integrity after changes
- Collaborate with Quality, Validation, and Business units to prepare for and respond to audits and inspections
- Deliver advanced-level technical support for electronic lab notebooks and related enterprise platforms
- Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes, including handling high-priority incidents and root cause investigations
- Support live system deployments, vendor updates, emergency patches, and service packs with minimal impact on operations
- Follow ITIL practices using ServiceNow for managing incidents, changes, and problems
- Partner with infrastructure teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to address performance and systemic challenges
- Maintain system reliability, monitor performance, and ensure operational preparedness in compliance-driven settings
- Engage closely with product teams, business units, validation, quality assurance, data science, and external vendors
- Lead improvements in system functionality, defect resolution, and ongoing platform optimization
- Design and deploy process enhancements to boost operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Function effectively within complex, global, and cross-functional teams operating in a matrix structure
- Apply artificial intelligence and automation tools to improve testing procedures, support operations, and streamline workflows
