Celestica is looking for a Specialist, IT Infrastructure - Network Support to install, maintain, upgrade, and continuously improve our site's operating environment. You will ensure the ongoing reliability, performance, and security of the infrastructure by responding to incidents, planning for growth, and deploying new technologies.
What You'll Do
- Participate in the development of an effective network design and strategy.
- Provide technical support, perform maintenance, and offer technical guidance to customers and staff.
- Perform service monitoring and reporting, with a focus on risk management and compliance.
- Explore new solutions and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Provide network troubleshooting and effective solutions to network problems while minimizing downtime.
- Install and configure network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues.
- Monitor computer systems to improve network performance.
- Lead projects and change management initiatives.
- Manage external service providers and vendors.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Internet Proxy and VPN for secure access.
- Administer and manage application control policies and endpoint security configurations.
What We're Looking For
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in a similar role or industry.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Strong customer service orientation and analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, documentation, leadership, and teamwork skills.
- Negotiation, conflict resolution, and project planning abilities.
- Good understanding of IT requirements for an end-to-end solution, including security, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
- In-depth knowledge of the Windows OS (server and client) and the desktop operating environment.
- Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts and ITIL 4 Foundation.
- Advanced knowledge of infrastructure service management & diagnostic tools and processes.
- Advanced knowledge of end-point security management tools and processes.
- Experience handling network security issues (viruses, malware, social engineering).
- Understanding of IT Infrastructure asset lifecycle management.
Nice to Have
- Linux and other mainstream OS knowledge.
- Understanding of NIST CSF and 800-171.
- Vendor Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or Network+, CheckPoint or FortiGate Firewall, Cisco CCNA or CCNP, Fortinet Certified Professional or Solution Specialist.

- Salary range: $71,370 - $94,574
