Medtronic is hiring a Clinical Specialist – TAVI to provide essential clinical and educational support for our Structural Heart product portfolio. You will play a key role in clinical development, customer training, and sales execution, directly impacting patient outcomes and customer success.
What You'll Do
- Conduct on-site clinical education and consulting for healthcare providers.
- Support field personnel to deliver optimal outcomes and service for Medtronic customers.
- Partner with sales colleagues to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
- Participate in conventions, forums, and meetings to increase product awareness.
- Collaborate with Clinical Lead, Clinical Management, and Regional Sales teams to provide case and sales support.
- Identify and facilitate execution on growth opportunities with the Sales and Clinical Support Team.
- Serve as a key technical resource to support sales of specific medical products or solutions.
- Responsibly report complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs).
- Provide leadership in establishing, implementing, promoting, and administering clinical education activities.
- Develop and execute clinical education programs to enhance user competencies.
- Cultivate relationships with strategic business partners, including training centers and opinion leaders.
- Provide new employee training on products, technology, and materials.
- Assist in developing marketing and sales objectives and programs.
- Apply nursing and/or medical expertise to the development of case reports, journal articles, and clinical reports.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate educational workshops, programs, and events.
- Work cross-functionally to establish priorities for company direction, new product development, and customer satisfaction.
- Document all clinical support and education activities.
- Conduct Monthly Business Reviews with Regional Sales Managers (RSM) and Strategic Product Managers (SPM).
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED, or Associate degree, or Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 6 years of work experience in healthcare or engineering with a High School Diploma/GED.
- Minimum 4 years of work experience in healthcare or engineering with an Associate degree.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in healthcare or engineering with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 3 years of prior professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree and current enrollment in a certificate program from a pacing school like ATI or PrepMD.
Nice to Have
- Nursing teaching training would be an asset.
- Minimum 5 years of sales and/or marketing experience in healthcare.
- Good knowledge of the healthcare system at national, provincial, and/or regional levels.
- Experience in the medical device field.
- Ability to develop and present training programs and workshops.
- Skill in analyzing and re-engineering operations, formulating policy, and developing new strategies.
- Ability to organize resources and establish priorities.
- Knowledge of adult education principles and communication practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Desire to help others and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strategic planning and strong communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of nursing and/or medical principles, methods, and procedures.
- Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate clinical training methodologies and assessment tools.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and plan tasks effectively.
- Working knowledge of conflict resolution and mediation principles.
- Must possess a valid driver's license without restrictions.
- Bilingual fluency in French and English.
Team & Environment
You will work closely with the Clinical Lead, Clinical Management, and the Regional Sales team to provide integrated customer support.
