Southern New Hampshire Health was looking for a Southern NH Health - Financial Analyst Senior - FMP - Full Time

Southern New Hampshire Health is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to play a key role in ensuring financial compliance and preparing critical reports in accordance with organizational procedures, laws, and regulations. You will join a team dedicated to the financial integrity of our healthcare system.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and file the annual cost report and other filings required by CMS and Medicaid, including wage index data and occupational mix surveys.
  • Advise management on governmental payer regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Tricare.
  • Maintain and verify the accuracy of the contractual allowance reserve model and third-party settlement reserve accounts.
  • Support the annual operating and capital budget process and train department managers on budgeting software.
  • Prepare financial statements for the Surgery Center of Greater Nashua and Radiation Center of Greater Nashua, ensuring compliance with year-end audits.
  • Perform financial reconciliations on daily, weekly, monthly, and annual bases to support general ledger accounts.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of financial analysis experience in a healthcare setting, including experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and Tricare cost reporting.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and general knowledge of GAAP.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work with various levels of management and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
