As Senior Product Designer, you'll drive end-to-end design for a platform delivering accessible mental health support to young people. The role centers on creating seamless, empathetic digital experiences that integrate AI tools with real-time human guidance, ensuring safety, clarity, and ease of use across multiple user groups.
What You’ll Do
- Lead design from initial concept through launch and refinement, focusing on new features and core interactions within the product ecosystem
- Develop prototypes and conduct rapid testing to validate ideas early, minimizing development risk and aligning teams around user needs
- Design across complex systems involving clinical workflows, administrative oversight, and AI-driven conversations, balancing usability with compliance and care standards
- Conduct discovery research such as interviews and usability sessions to uncover insights that shape product direction
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver polished, scalable interfaces and advance shared design systems
- Own the evolution of the design system to ensure consistency, accessibility, and faster iteration across platforms
- Work closely with product management and engineering to influence roadmap decisions and long-term strategy
- Champion strong design principles, thoughtful systems, and deep user empathy across the organization
Work & Impact
This is a part-time position requiring three days of work per week, with at least 2–4 hours of daily overlap with Pacific Time. You’ll operate in a globally distributed environment, contributing to a mission-driven product that supports students, families, and care providers through meaningful, accessible tools. Success means building experiences that are not only functional but also respectful, trustworthy, and empowering.
