LILT is looking for freelance Somali Medical Translators to join our remote contractor network. This role focuses on producing high-quality translations from English into Somali, specializing in the Life Sciences, Medical, and Clinical Trials domains.
What You'll Do
- Translate and localize complex medical and life sciences content from English into Somali.
- Ensure all translated materials meet high standards of accuracy, terminology consistency, and cultural appropriateness.
- Manage translation projects effectively, adhering to deadlines and specific client requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Native speaker of Somali, born and educated in-country.
- Must be located in the United States.
- University Degree in Linguistics or Translation.
- Proven professional experience in translation and localization.
- Must provide details of previous projects and clients relevant to the required domain expertise.
- Must submit an English-language version of your Resume/C.V.
- Must have an active Tipalti account for payment processing.
Nice to Have
- Professional experience specifically within the Life Sciences, Medical, and Clinical Trials domains.
