Peab is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect/Backend Developer to play a pivotal role in shaping how a leading Nordic construction company works with data, analytics, and decision support. This position blends solution architecture with hands-on backend development within the Analytics team, focusing on modeling, designing, and developing the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
What You'll Do
- Take requirements and needs from the business and break them down into well-thought-out solution proposals.
- Model data according to established principles.
- Design solution architecture in new and existing initiatives.
- Develop ETL flows and optimize code for performance and scalability.
- Ensure data quality through testing and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with Lead Architect, Lead Platforms, Team Lead, and other developers.
- Drive technical dialogues, challenge requirements, and ensure solutions follow Peab's design principles and architectural guidelines.
- Work with various types of data sources with varying quality, size, and complexity.
What We're Looking For
- Academic education equivalent to at least three years of university studies.
- Solid experience in backend development within data and analytics.
- Experience in solution design and data modeling.
- Strong skills in SQL and preferably Python.
- Experience with Snowflake, Azure, and modern ETL tools like DBT and Matillion.
- Experience with Power BI and DAX.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with different types of data, for example, financial data and HR data.
