As a Solution Architect, you will shape the technical direction of complex projects by transforming business requirements into comprehensive, future-ready technology blueprints. Your role bridges strategic vision and implementation, ensuring solutions are aligned with client objectives and built on robust, scalable architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret client requests and business needs—especially in Gen AI—and convert them into detailed technical designs covering data pipelines, AI models, and system integrations
- Create end-to-end architecture diagrams that map data flow from ingestion through processing, modeling, and final consumption
- Select and align technologies such as cloud platforms, ETL tools, visualization engines, and LLMs with specific business use cases
- Develop accurate effort estimates for application development and maintenance, validated through technical experts
- Design efficient team structures leveraging global delivery models and onshore-offshore resourcing strategies
- Produce clear, compelling solution presentations for sales engagements and delivery planning
- Collaborate with leaders across regions to review and refine solution approaches
- Serve as a trusted connector between pre-sales and delivery teams, ensuring smooth handoffs post-contract
- Contribute to proposals, statements of work, and contracting documentation with technical precision
- Present and defend architectural decisions to both internal stakeholders and clients
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in technology consulting or systems integration
- Completed 15 years of formal education
- Proven background in application development, maintenance, or systems integration projects
- Familiarity with major cloud providers including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Python, Power BI, Informatica, APIs, and LLM-based models
- Basic proficiency in Excel, including functions like PivotTables, filters, and VLOOKUP
- Strong foundation in solution architecture principles and practices
Preferred Skills
- Prior exposure to data engineering or AI initiatives
- Advanced PowerPoint skills for crafting executive-level narratives
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with diverse stakeholders
- Experience working in distributed, cross-functional teams across time zones
- Understanding of microservices, API design, front-end and back-end systems, and emerging tools like ChatGPT
Work Environment
This role is based in Pan-India locations with a local-country work model, supporting flexible arrangements within the region. You will collaborate across geographies while being embedded in a locally anchored team structure.
