Braze is hiring a Solution Architect Manager, a senior technical and people leader within our Application Engineering group. In this role, you will oversee a team of Solution Architects, driving the strategic development of power system solutions across industrial, data center, and enterprise applications. You’ll be responsible for technical excellence, fostering innovation, and aligning architectural practices with business objectives.
What You'll Do
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Solution Architects.
- Set performance goals, conduct reviews, and support career development.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Guide the development of scalable, standards-compliant power system architectures.
- Ensure alignment with performance, reliability, and operational objectives.
- Review and approve high-impact designs and proposals.
- Partner with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering to align technical solutions with customer needs.
- Facilitate communication between technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Drive resolution of complex technical challenges across disciplines.
- Support strategic business development efforts with technical leadership.
- Oversee RFI/RFP responses and ensure high-quality technical documentation.
- Represent IEM in key customer engagements and industry forums.
- Champion digital transformation and integration of emerging technologies.
- Evaluate new tools, platforms, and methodologies to enhance solution delivery.
- Engage with vendors and industry partners to stay ahead of trends.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in power system architecture.
- 3+ years in a technical leadership role.
- Deep knowledge of UL, IEEE standards, and industry best practices.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects.
- Strong communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Experience with microgrid and advanced energy applications.
- Experience in power equipment sales or commercial collaboration.
- Proven innovation leadership and vendor engagement experience.

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $160,000 - $200,000 per year.
