About the Role
The candidate will design and execute test strategies for SASE-based software, identifying defects and ensuring high-quality delivery across cloud and on-prem environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for network security features
- Validate functionality of secure access service edge components
- Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve defects
- Design test plans for cloud-based networking platforms
- Execute both manual and automated test cases across multiple environments
- Analyze system behavior under various network conditions
- Document test results and track issues using issue management tools
- Verify integration between security policies and network services
- Perform regression testing to ensure stability after updates
- Assess performance and scalability of distributed systems
- Work with CI/CD pipelines to integrate testing workflows
- Validate zero-trust security model implementations
- Test failover and redundancy mechanisms in network architectures
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards
- Troubleshoot complex network and security issues
- Review requirements for testability and completeness
- Provide feedback on product design from a testing perspective
- Support lab environment setup and configuration
- Monitor test coverage and improve testing efficiency
- Stay current with evolving SASE and SD-WAN technologies
Nice to Have
- Experience with security testing methodologies
- Knowledge of OAuth, SAML, or other identity protocols
- Familiarity with Kubernetes or service mesh technologies
- Exposure to performance testing tools
- Certifications in networking or security domains
