Responsibilities

  • Create test plans and test cases that align with defined software specifications.
  • Run and evaluate both manual and automated tests throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Accurately log and monitor test execution progress and outcomes using designated tracking systems.
  • Record, follow, and manage identified defects from detection to resolution.
  • Quickly escalate high-severity defects and critical blockers.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to diagnose, categorize, and resolve issues, identifying root causes.
  • Confirm fixes and close defect reports and associated change requests before product release.
  • Write and maintain automated test scripts using various programming and scripting tools.
  • Implement automation strategies across different platform and infrastructure setups.
  • Use analysis of large datasets to uncover areas for product enhancement and expand test coverage.
