Optasia is seeking a Software & Performance Engineer to join our fintech team. You will be responsible for developing robust software and ensuring optimal system performance, directly impacting the reliability and efficiency of our financial technology solutions.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable software systems.
- Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.
- Collaborate on architectural decisions to enhance platform reliability and efficiency.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Monitor production systems and proactively address performance and stability issues.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience developing and optimizing software in a fintech or other high-stakes transactional environment.
- Strong proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Go, Python, C++).
- Deep understanding of performance analysis, profiling tools, and optimization techniques.
- Experience with distributed systems, databases, and microservices architecture.
- Ability to diagnose complex technical problems and deliver effective solutions.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of financial systems, payment processing, or risk management platforms.
- Familiarity with APM and observability tools (e.g., Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus).
