Tiugo Technologies is looking for a Software Engineering Team Leader to own the technical and people leadership for our CKEditor frontend team. In this role, you will combine hands-on engineering with leading a mature, core team working on a complex domain and proprietary framework. You will shape architectural direction, drive technical quality, and leverage AI to enhance developer experience and team efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Manage, supervise, and track the delivery of the engineering team.
- Contribute to performance reviews, goal setting, and career progression plans.
- Coach engineers day-to-day through mentoring, pairing, and providing technical feedback.
- Collaborate with the team to develop processes, policy, protocols, and solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and establish quality standards.
- Cultivate engineering excellence through continuous learning and a blameless culture.
- Promote a culture of ownership, responsibility, and cooperation.
What We're Looking For
- Interest in leading while staying hands-on with code.
- At least 4-5+ years of experience as a Frontend Engineer or a similar role.
- Proven experience (at least 2 years) in leading a team of engineers through hiring, mentoring, and feedback.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and good knowledge of React.
- Ability to successfully complete complex software projects and deliver products.
- A strong understanding of both business and technical strategy.
- Ability to communicate directly and clearly.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proficiency level in English and Polish at C1.

- Experience working directly with international clients.
- Experience with workflow automation using AI.
