Delivery Hero is hiring a Software Engineering Sr Manager to lead the Lending domain within our Fintech Tribe. You will be responsible for defining strategic direction, developing talent, and ensuring operational excellence to advance our financial technology products.
What You'll Do
- Lead three to four squads within the Lending domain, ensuring direct impact at the Tribe level.
- Define the vision and mission of the domain with your Product counterpart, translating Tribe objectives into actionable goals with a horizon of at least 18 months.
- Establish a solid 'second layer' of leadership by mentoring Engineering Managers and Principals, raising the bar, and developing and attracting talent.
- Drive domain performance by analyzing and improving standard delivery and software engineering metrics, ensuring end-to-end platform quality.
- Stay at the forefront of technological developments in Fintech, identifying opportunities to apply local innovations for competitive advantage.
What We're Looking For
- At least 4 years of experience in leadership and management of software development teams using agile methodologies.
- Broad knowledge of technologies relevant to the role and sector, valuing experience in Java, JavaScript, React, NodeJS, Android, or iOS.
- Mastery of distributed architectures, system integration, and designing scalable solutions.
- Degree in Systems Engineering or related fields.
- Advanced level of English (oral and written).
