Jobgether is hiring a Software Engineering Manager to lead the development and architecture of our AI-enhanced training applications. This is a high-visibility, technical leadership role where you will guide both strategic direction and hands-on execution, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

What You'll Do

Lead and mentor a high-performing team of engineers, promoting excellence, innovation, and ownership.
Architect, design, and deliver complex software solutions using PHP, Ruby, AWS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and related technologies.
Implement DevOps practices including CI/CD automation, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), observability, and secure deployment pipelines.
Drive quality through automated testing frameworks and continuous integration processes.
Apply AI-driven development tools to optimize coding, testing, and documentation workflows.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Data, and Security teams to align technical direction with business objectives.
Participate in hands-on coding, code reviews, and architectural decisions to ensure scalable, high-quality delivery.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience delivering cloud-native applications at scale in Agile environments.
Strong proficiency in PHP, Ruby, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Laravel, Rails, and React.
Deep experience with AWS cloud architecture, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of test automation frameworks like Cypress, Jest, PyTest, or equivalent.
Experience mentoring engineers and translating technical execution into strategic outcomes.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Codex, Cursor).
Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or security (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, CKA, CISSP).
