The Software Engineering Manager – Growth and Adoption will lead and build a team of Growth Software Engineers focused on user engagement, activation, and adoption across Autodesk's AI-powered design platform, Forma. This role combines people leadership, technical guidance, and a growth mindset to drive measurable impact through experimentation and data-driven development.
What You'll Do
- Build and lead a team dedicated to improving user journeys across the Forma ecosystem—from onboarding and activation to long-term engagement
- Hire, onboard, and develop a team of Growth Software Engineers
- Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous learning
- Coach engineers in both technical and product thinking
- Create an environment where engineers feel supported, challenged, and empowered
- Lead initiatives focused on onboarding, activation, retention, and engagement
- Enable rapid experimentation (A/B testing, feature flags, analytics-driven iteration)
- Partner with Product and Design to identify and prioritize growth opportunities
- Ensure the team delivers measurable impact on key user and business metrics
- Promote best practices in experimentation and hypothesis-driven development
- Ensure proper instrumentation, analytics, and feedback loops
- Use data to guide decisions and continuously improve user experiences
- Work closely with other product areas
- Partner with analytics, platform, and infrastructure teams
- Contribute to the broader engineering management group
