Zus Health is hiring a Software Engineer to join our Platform team. At Zus, our mission is to catalyze healthcare's greatest inventors by maximizing the value of patient insights. In this role, you will take on the challenge of processing, storing, and delivering the entire health records of millions of patients through services that power our applications, providing low latency and high availability for all operations. You will build and evolve this platform as it scales.
What You'll Do
- Build and operate data services driving our applications and APIs.
- Collaborate with team members and across Engineering to iteratively prototype and develop new functionality.
- Partner with product managers and other Zusers.
What We're Looking For
- You are scrappy and you move fast.
- You are jazzed to build backend services in Go.
- You have some experience/exposure with at least one of the following: deployment technologies (Github actions, CodeDeploy, CircleCI), cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

Nice to Have
- Experience building and running large-scale systems in the cloud using Go.
- Experience using Postgres and its search capabilities.
- Knowledge of application security.
- Experience working with healthcare data and APIs.
- Familiarity with the FHIR and/or TEFCA standards.
