NielsenIQ is looking for a Software Engineer with a DevOps focus to enhance our application delivery and infrastructure automation ecosystem. In this role, you'll work across Python, Java, Node.js, Angular, frontend libraries, and third-party integrations, leveraging modern DevOps practices alongside GenAI-enabled tools to drive speed, efficiency, and security.
What You'll Do
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Deploy, scale, and operate workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Manage Kubernetes deployments with Helm Charts and enable auto-scaling using KEDA.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
- Support multi-stack delivery for Python, Java, Node.js, Angular, and modern frontend libraries.
- Integrate and automate third-party services securely.
- Implement observability, monitoring, and alerting for reliable operations.
- Integrate security best practices with automated vulnerability scanning, image scanning, and secrets management.
- Use GenAI-enabled DevOps tools (e.g., copilots, AI assistants) to accelerate delivery and troubleshooting.
- Contribute to DevOps standards and automation strategy.
What We're Looking For
- 3–4 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE.
- Strong knowledge of GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, and KEDA.
- Proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience supporting Python, Java, Node.js, and Angular applications.
- Familiarity with security tooling (SAST, DAST, image scanning, secret management).
- Exposure to or hands-on with GenAI-enabled tools for DevOps automation.
- Good scripting skills in Bash, Python, or equivalent.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with AIOps or GenAI observability platforms.
- Knowledge of API gateways, service mesh, or serverless components.
- Experience with frontend build automation and release processes.
- Cost optimization and performance tuning in cloud environments.
