The Role As a Backend Engineer within the Servicing team at PayOne, you'll develop and optimize systems powering customer support and operational experiences across millions of users. What You'll Accomplish - Design, architect, and implement backend services supporting Operations and Customer Support teams - Create end-to-end features, including innovative solutions enabling scalable service workflows - Develop comprehensive documentation supporting our expanding, distributed organization - Address complex challenges involving large-scale financial transactions and sensitive data - Partner with cross-functional teams and external providers to deliver dependable, secure service solutions - Integrate artificial intelligence and language model capabilities into service processes Your Professional Profile - 8+ years constructing and launching backend systems in high-performance environments - Profound understanding of event-driven architecture and microservice frameworks - Proven leadership experience demonstrating exceptional execution with minimal supervision - Familiarity with AI technologies, language model workflows, or model-driven backend integrations - Proactive, self-motivated approach — everyone here is a builder and executor Technology Ecosystem We utilize Node and TypeScript server-side, leveraging NestJS within a microservice architecture on Kubernetes and AWS. Our client platforms include iOS, Android, and web applications using React Native. While exact stack experience isn't mandatory, modern software engineering expertise facilitates quick adaptation.
