Interlead GmbH is looking for a Software Engineer (m/w/d) to support our IT team in building and optimizing our Ruby-on-Rails applications and infrastructure. Our goal is to become the #1 Lead Company in the DACH region by the end of 2026 by solving our partners' biggest problem: generating new leads, appointments, and orders. We are a bootstrapped, profitable, and independent company.

What You'll Do

Develop and maintain Ruby-on-Rails applications.
Work closely with product and design teams to implement new features.
Optimize the existing codebase for performance, security, and maintainability.
Integrate external APIs and services.
Support the improvement of development processes and toolchains.

What We're Looking For

Experience as a Ruby-on-Rails developer.
Alternatively, solid experience with Python/Django or comparable MVC-based SaaS projects.
An eye for clean, well-structured code and test-driven development.
A commitment to further develop existing applications and contribute new ideas.

Nice to Have

Experience in hosting and independently operating applications.

Technical Stack

Backend: Ruby on Rails (preferred) or Python/Django
Frontend: JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS
Testing: RSpec, Minitest, Capybara (or pytest/unittest for Python)
Databases & Search: PostgreSQL, MySQL, OpenSearch, potentially Redis
Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS, Heroku or comparable platforms
Tools & Processes: Git, GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions, CircleCI)
