SageCor Solutions is hiring a Software Engineer for programs of significant scope and complexity. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph and focuses on developing robust software solutions using modern development and containerization technologies.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and deploy software for programs and contracts of significant scope, type, and complexity
- Build and maintain containerized services using technologies like Docker and containerd
- Deploy and orchestrate services using Kubernetes and create Helm Charts
- Develop scripts and applications using Python 3.x, Bash, and Rust programming concepts
- Work with NoSQL databases including MongoDB and Messaging Frameworks like RabbitMQ
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
What We're Looking For
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is mandatory
- Master’s degree in computer science or related field plus 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer
- OR Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field plus 7 years of experience as a Software Engineer
- OR 9 years of experience as a Software Engineer
- Experience using the Linux CLI and Tools
- Recent Python (3.x) software development experience
- Experience with Rust programming concepts, or a willingness and aptitude to learn
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
- Familiarity with RabbitMQ, GitLab CI, Ansible, and the Git Source Control System
Nice to Have
- Experience with SQL databases including PostgreSQL
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence
