As a Software Engineer Intern, you’ll play a direct role in developing and refining mission-critical software platforms. You'll write and deploy code that powers systems used by government, healthcare, and industrial organizations to solve complex challenges. From initial concept to final delivery, you’ll be involved in every phase of the product lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
- Write and deploy production-level code for core platform components, contributing to systems that serve high-impact use cases
- Collaborate with engineers, product specialists, and domain experts to identify user needs and design effective technical solutions
- Engage in design discussions, prototyping, and iterative development to deliver robust features
- Work closely with a dedicated mentor who will guide your technical growth and project impact
- Gain firsthand insight into real-world applications by visiting operational environments where the software is used
What We’re Looking For
You should be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field, with expected graduation in 2027. This internship should be your final one prior to completing your studies.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript is required. You should also have a solid grasp of data structures, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and storage systems. Familiarity with modern development tools and workflows is essential.
Applicants must hold or be eligible to obtain an active US Security clearance.
Work Environment
Interns are encouraged to work on-site to fully engage with their teams and the development process. Many teams offer hybrid flexibility, allowing remote work one or two days per week. Fully remote arrangements are permitted only in exceptional cases and must align with the state of employment.

Compensation & Benefits
This role offers a monthly salary of $10,500. Total compensation is based on qualifications, experience, skills, and other relevant factors, excluding benefits and potential long-term incentives.
