Octave is looking for a Software Engineer Intern to join our Quality Assurance organization. You will focus on the verification and validation of Octave products like InConcert using tools such as Forte 3D. In this role, you'll be part of an agile team collaborating within a multi-tenant, Cloud-only application framework.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain manual test plans and procedures
- Define and execute manual tests based on given criteria
- Define regression, new feature, and performance test plans with relevant metrics
- Define continuing testing efforts to support a fast and frequent Software as a Service (SaaS) release model
- Analyze data and communicate test results with Development or Support teams
- Interact with product owners, product development, and quality assurance teams to give feedback, discuss design issues, investigate problems, and develop solutions
- Accurately document testing activities and results
- Use strong analytical skills to solve software, delivery, or configuration problems in a timely manner while adapting to changing priorities
What We're Looking For
- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related area
- Working knowledge of Windows OS, Database concepts, and Azure
- Strong interpersonal, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills
