GitLab is looking for a Software Engineer II to design, build, and support our digital product suite. You will focus on scale, stability, and user experiences that serve clinical teams and members.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using React and Node.js.
- Build scalable and efficient APIs that support web and mobile applications.
- Take a data-driven, iterative approach to building digital products and enabling teams to provide quality care.
- Communicate with technical and non-technical audiences to understand goals and translate them into technical architecture and requirements.
- Manage cross-functional partnerships with data, product, and other teams to communicate requirements and deliver new application functionality.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5+ years of software development experience in a high growth environment.
- Understanding and experience with front end applications, APIs, and back-end services.
- Experience with React and Node.js.
Nice to Have
- Experience in healthcare or virtual care.
- Experience using FHIR standard data modeling.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, hypergrowth, collaborative environment.
